Description

The Schluter-KERDI-LINE recessed linear drain has been developed to integrate seamlessly with bonded waterproofing assemblies. It is installed along a wall or centred in the floor. A single slope toward KERDI-LINE allows the use of large-format tiles and achieves attractive, easy-to-install layouts. KERDI-LINE consists of a stainless steel channel body combined with a frame and either a grate or a tile plate. The channel body includes a standard 2" (50 mm) outlet designed to connect directly to the pipe using the appropriate mechanical coupling, making the product suitable for both new construction and renovation. The outlet is available in a centred or offset position; the offset version is located 8" (20.3 cm) from the edge of the channel to easily avoid obstacles (e.g. joists). KERDI-LINE includes a matching polystyrene channel support, allowing height adjustment relative to KERDI-SHOWER-LT/-LTS bases. The channel rim features a KERDI bonding flange for a simple, reliable connection to the bonded system on the floor and adjacent walls. Lengths are available from 20" to 72" (50 to 180 cm) in 4" (10 cm) increments. The bonding flange extends approximately 1" (2.5 cm) beyond each side of the channel. The grate assembly includes a stainless steel frame adjustable for tile or stone thickness and layout: 1/8" to 1" (3 to 25 mm) for standard grate assemblies, and 1/4" to 23/32" (6 to 18 mm) for "style" grate assemblies. Stainless steel grates insert into the frame. The standard assembly has an exposed surface of approximately 3/8" (10 mm) once installed and accepts two grate models: SOLID (A) or SQUARE (B). Standard versions are offered in a brushed or chrome finish. The SQUARE (B) option can be fitted with a locking mechanism (stainless steel, 3/4" – 19 mm frame only) for sites requiring a lockable grate (healthcare, educational facilities, etc.). The "style" frame provides a minimal visible surface after installation and pairs with three grates: FLORAL (E), CURVE (F) or PURE (G), available in a brushed finish. With the tile plate flush to the channel body, it accepts tiles of any thickness.
