Return and refund policy

Return request

All return requests must be made within 30 days of receipt of the product. All return requests must be made in store Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (ET) or by email to achatenligne@emardcp.com .

Non-refundable products

Some products are non-refundable, such as all final sale products where no returns will be allowed. All carpets or vinyl rolls are also non-refundable as they are special orders and custom cut products. No returns will be accepted after 30 days on installed products.

Policy specifications according to product types

For solid and engineered wood:
No returns will be accepted on orders.

For laminate:
The return must be a minimum of 5 full boxes, unopened and in their original packaging. A return fee of 30% before taxes + $100 shipping will apply. The maximum return period is 15 days following receipt at Emard Couvre-Planchers.

For in-stock rugs:
Returns accepted within 48 hours only. For custom rugs: No returns – special order.

For ceramic tiles:
Returns accepted only if the boxes are unopened and in their original packaging. A return fee of 30% before taxes + $100 shipping will apply. The maximum return period is 15 days following receipt at Emard Couvre-Planchers.

For heating wires:
Returns accepted only if the boxes are unopened. A return fee of 30% before taxes + $100 shipping will apply. The maximum return period is 15 days following receipt at Emard Couvre-Planchers. is 15 days following receipt at Emard Couvre-Planchers.

For carpet tiles:

The return must be a minimum of 5 full boxes, unopened and in their original packaging. A return fee of 30% before taxes + $100 shipping will apply. The maximum return period is 15 days following receipt at Emard Couvre-Planchers.

For ImpexStone products:
The return must be a minimum of 3 full boxes, unopened and in their original packaging. A return fee of 30% before taxes + $100 shipping will apply. The maximum return period is 15 days following receipt at Emard Couvre-Planchers.

Before preparing any order shipment, Emard Couvre-Planchers Inc. will make sure to follow up by phone to validate the products ordered, the accuracy of the measurements and quantities, the delivery address as well as other important details for the smooth running of your customer experience.

Emard Couvre-Planchers Inc. declines all responsibility for damages or costs resulting from any delay in delivery, no guarantee is offered as to delivery times.

Emard Couvre-Planchers Inc. disclaims any liability for any measurement errors made by the customer. To ensure you have the correct quantities, we suggest using our in-store measurement service.

Unless otherwise stated, product prices shown do not include shipping and handling charges or applicable federal or provincial sales taxes. Shipping and handling charges and taxes will be shown separately in the order confirmation for each order, as applicable.

Orders and deliveries to isolated or remote areas may be subject to review by our customer service. Additional shipping charges may apply to deliveries to rural, isolated or remote areas, at the sole discretion of Emard Couvre-Planchers inc., which reserves the right to cancel or modify an order at any time. In this case, the customer will be notified by telephone or email as soon as possible.
