Your day-to-day role
Quality aspect
- Perform visual inspections of flooring work on construction sites
- Identify defects, irregularities, and non-compliant work
- Document observations (photos, reports, inspection forms)
- Complete and maintain quality control reports
- Monitor the progress of construction sites and know their status
- Perform regular tours of construction sites
- Report problems and ensure corrective actions are followed up
- Collaborate with project managers and installers
Logistics and planning aspect
- Organize and confirm appointments for installation work
- Optimize schedules based on priorities, logistical constraints, and availabilities
- Maintain a professional relationship with the installation teams
- Assign mandates to installation teams according to their skills and availabilities
- Monitor the progress of work and resolve operational issues
- Know the flooring subcontractors to be able to assign them to the right projects
- Follow up on service calls
What we are looking for
- Experience in coordination, logistics, or dispatch
- Experience in the flooring, construction, or inspection field (significant asset)
- Possess a valid driver's license; CLASS 5
- Comfortable with technological tools (Office Suite, planning software, or CRM)
- Excellent organization and priority management
- Ability to manage several files/sites simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and rigor
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Autonomy and resourcefulness
- Comfortable with technological tools
- Good command of French and English
Working conditions
- Hybrid position (office + travel to construction sites)
