It incorporates a perforated trapezoidal anchoring fin designed to be embedded in the mortar bed beneath the tile, and an element forming a symmetrically rounded outer corner with a radius of 1\/4\\\" (6 mm) along the edge of the surface.\n\nRONDEC is available in stainless steel, solid brass, chrome-plated solid brass, anodized aluminium, coloured aluminium, textured coloured aluminium and PVC. This range of materials, colours and finishes allows tones to be matched with tiles and grout and adds decorative accents while protecting tile edges from mechanical stress.\n\nThe stainless steel version offers particularly good wear resistance as an edge protector; the profile can also be used as a stair nosing or as a transition profile. RONDEC is also suitable for transitions, corners or junctions with other coverings such as carpet, hardwood flooring, natural stone tiles or cold-applied polymer resin coatings. The integrated joint spacer forms a defined joint cavity between the profile and the tile.\n\nNote: RONDEC in stainless steel and solid brass do not include the integrated joint spacer.
