It incorporates a perforated, trapezoidal anchoring leg that is embedded into the mortar bed beneath the tile, as well as a profile forming a symmetrically rounded outside corner with a 1\/4\" (6 mm) radius along the surface edge.\n\nThe profile is available in stainless steel, solid brass, chrome-plated solid brass, anodized aluminium, coloured aluminium, textured coloured aluminium and PVC. This variety of materials, colours and finishes allows the profile to be coordinated with tiles and grout or to add decorative accents. Beyond its aesthetic role, RONDEC effectively protects tile edges against mechanical stress.\n\nThe stainless steel version offers increased wear resistance when used for edge protection; it can also serve as a stair nose or as a transition profile. RONDEC is also suitable for transitions, corners or junctions with other coverings — carpet, wood flooring, natural stone tiles or cold-applied resin coatings. The integrated joint spacer creates a defined joint cavity with the tile.\n\nNote: stainless steel and solid brass RONDEC profiles are not equipped with the integrated joint spacer. Matching inside and outside corners, including sink corners, as well as connectors are available.
