Available in stainless steel (including structured finish), anodized aluminium and textured coloured aluminium, QUADEC delivers a contemporary look and attractive aesthetic contrasts. It coordinates with QUADEC-FS and DESIGNLINE profiles to offer additional decorative options. Beyond its aesthetic role, QUADEC effectively protects tile edges against impact and wear and is also suitable as a stair nosing or as a transition profile between different floor coverings (carpet, wood flooring, natural stone, epoxy resins, etc.). The profile normally includes an integrated grout spacer to provide a uniform joint between the tile and the profile; however, the stainless steel version does not have an integrated grout spacer. Matching internal\/external corners and connectors are available. Maintenance: QUADEC does not require special maintenance and resists mould and fungi. Clean the profiles regularly with a neutral cleaner. Steel surfaces exposed to open air or aggressive chemicals should be maintained periodically with a neutral cleaner to preserve the appearance of the stainless steel and reduce the risk of corrosion; using a chrome polish can increase the shine of stainless steels. Avoid strong acids (e.g. hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid) and aggressive alkaline cleaners (e.g. bleach, ammonia, chlorine), as well as abrasive products and tools.
