Available in stainless steel (including textured finish), anodized aluminium and coloured textured aluminium, QUADEC provides a contemporary look and attractive aesthetic contrasts. It coordinates with the QUADEC-FS and DESIGNLINE profiles to offer additional decorative options. Beyond its aesthetic role, QUADEC effectively protects tile edges from impacts and wear and is also suitable as a stair nosing or as a transition profile between different coverings (carpet, hardwood, natural stone, epoxy resins, etc.). The profile typically incorporates an integrated grout spacer to ensure a uniform joint between the tile and the profile; however, the stainless steel version does not include an integrated grout spacer. Internal\/external corner pieces and matching connectors are available. Maintenance: QUADEC requires no special maintenance and resists mould and fungal growth. Clean the profiles regularly with a neutral cleaner. Steel surfaces exposed to the open air or to aggressive chemicals should be periodically maintained with a neutral cleaner to preserve the appearance of the stainless steel and reduce the risk of corrosion; using a chrome polish can increase the shine of stainless steels. Avoid strong acids (e.g., hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid) and aggressive alkaline cleaners (e.g., bleach, ammonia, chlorine), as well as abrasive products and tools.
