This range of materials, colours and finishes allows the profile to be matched with different tile styles and grout lines and to add decorative accents. Beyond its appearance, RONDEC effectively protects tile edges from mechanical stress.\n\nThe stainless steel version offers high wear resistance and can also be used as a stair nosing or as a transition profile. Some models include a grout spacer to ensure a uniform joint between the tile and the profile; however, the RONDEC profiles in stainless steel and brass are not equipped with this spacer. Matching corner pieces, including sink corners and connectors, as well as matching end caps for stainless steel, are available.\n\nMaintenance: RONDEC requires no special maintenance and is resistant to mould and mildew. Clean the profiles periodically with a neutral cleaner. Steel surfaces exposed to weather or aggressive chemicals should be cleaned regularly with a neutral cleaner to preserve appearance and reduce the risk of corrosion. Avoid strong acids (e.g., hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid) and alkaline cleaners (e.g., bleach, ammonia, chlorine). Do not use abrasive products or tools. A chrome polish will enhance the shine of stainless steel.
